High-speed rail information meetings setMay 22, 2015

The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation, in cooperation with the Federal Railroad Administration, will hold several upcoming public information meetings to discuss passenger rail service between Washington, D.C., and Richmond.
With the public’s input, preliminary rail alignment options will be further developed and evaluated. Meetings will be held in Fredericksburg, Richmond and Alexandria, along with an online meeting available June 1-23.
The Fredericksburg meeting will be held June 2 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Dorothy Hart Community Center at 408 Canal St.
